Pennsylvania House Bill 1873 (2022) - (Failed)

Pennsylvania House Bill 1873 was introduced midway through the Regular Session of 2021 (a 2-year session that started in January 2021). The proposed bill introduces a statewide Extended Producer Responsibility program for packaging and paper products. Under this program, producers are required to submit and implement a producer responsibility plan, either individually or a group may jointly submit a plan.
